2007 - Hanukkah and 80's Metal

Far more than 20% of my friends are Jewish, so a Hanukkah song was definitely overdue. I got the lyrics approved by 5 1/2 Jewish friends (my girlfriend at the time was half Jewish, or a "Cashew" as she liked to say--half Catholic, half Jewish). And I'd always wanted to tackle a true metal song. I chose to emulate the NWOBHM (that's the New Wave of British Heavy Metal--think Iron Maiden and Judas Priest). And personally, I think I nailed it!
