scores, balls, & the cup

Some important league news and reminders:

• Game Balls - captains, please remember that home teams are expected to have a minimum of TWO suitable game balls (and a pump) at every game. Good, size 5 balls. If your field has lots of trees and places to lose balls, please have more than two.

• Score Reporting - league game scores are now being reported by the refs. So unless you get an email from the Webmaster requesting a score, there is no need to send scores. Please don't email the entire league your game scores.

• State Cup - the State Cup bracket has been posted on the web page here. This year, the Cosmopolitan League's Over 39 Division will be participating in the same bracket.

• Web Site Address - since our free Wix webpage has a difficult to remember URL, we now have the old ref report website URL pointing here. So it's easier to memorize our league's website. It's at http://hudsonvalleysenior.soccer/

• Over 48 Score Reporting - we don't yet have the Over 48 refs in our ref system, so please email todd.jasko@gmail.com with your Over 48 game scores so we can keep the table updated.

• Rescheduled / Postponed Games - Because the refs don't report these, please be sure to email todd.jasko@gmail.com with any news of a game.

• Official Schedules - even though schedules were sent around my James, the WEBSITE SCHEDULE IS THE OFFICIAL ONE. The schedules emailed around already have multiple changes, so if your players don't check the website, they will NOT be looking at the correct schedule.

• Payment and Rosters - James is still waiting for payment and rosters from a few teams:

1. New Paltz A: Roster and payment for passes

2. Hudson Valley: Roster

3. Inter Rhinebeck: Roster

4. Beekman: Payment for passes

5. LaGrange SC: Roster and payment for passes
