The Week in Review - Week 11

Hudson FC blanked NYC Egypt this week (pictured above), and in doing so they clinched a spot in the final. Elliott Townsend had a 3 goals for Hudson... Holders the Set Shop Ramblers finally grabbed their first win of the season with a 2-1 win over ISL... CLS United, with only 10 men, barely held on to beat Beyond FC 3-2, and Alex Wasilewski took sole possession of first place in the race for the D1 Golden Boot... Zum Schneider took out the Brooklyn Gunners 5-3 and made a strong case for a spot in the final. They sit in third, but they have a game in hand... The big match up in D2 this week was Triboro hosting the Prairie Dogs of Brooklyn, and the Prairie Dogs came out on top thanks to a late tie-breaking header... Ramblers United scored late to split the points with BG2... Ballistic won comfortably against the Metro City Fury... Triboro continues to dominate the goalscoring charts as Xavia Lynch and Sam Friedman are sitting in first and second respectively... It was all draws in our Men's 8v8 as NYC United drew the Toon Army and Gotham United split the points with the Frenchies... And the Central Park Rangers can now control their own destiny in our Women's 8v8, as a win next week will secure their 4th Gotham Soccer League title.
